ASK to Acquire Ingres for $110 Million: ASK Computer Systems, a Mountain View, Calif.-based supplier of manufacturing software, said it agreed to acquire Ingres Corp., an Alameda-based software firm, for $9.25 per share in cash. Simultaneously, ASK announced that EDS Corp. and Hewlett-Packard have agreed to acquire 19.7% and 10%, respectively, of ASK common stock for an aggregate of $60 million in cash.
