The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday confiscated about 400 marijuana plants from a Thousand Oaks family suspected of growing them in a bedroom and a back yard, authorities said.
Adrian Bertolotti, 40, was arrested on suspicion of cultivation and possession for sale and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. His mother, Anna, 58, and his wife Page, 28, were held on suspicion of the same charge but were later released on their own recognizance.
Concluding a four-month investigation, deputies served a search warrant in the 500 block of Shenandoah Street about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and found two separate marijuana gardens, said Sgt. Gary Pentis of the narcotics division.
