ELMONT, N.Y. — Jockey Chris Antley, who sustained an injured right elbow last week when he fell from his mount, will return to ride on Friday at Belmont Park.
“Chris feels great,” his agent, Kevin Lyons, said Wednesday. “His arm is close to normal. He’s been in therapy the last few days and has been getting better and better.”
Antley, who fell from his mount in a spill during the running of Belmont’s fifth race last Saturday, suffered a severely bruised right elbow and a puncture wound which required five stitches.
