Following are last week’s top collegiate football performances by South Bay high school graduates: Fred Gatlin, Nevada (Reno), sophomore: The former Carson High quarterback completed 17 of 28 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-14 victory over Northern Arizona to move into sixth on the school’s all-time passing list. He was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week.
Treamelle Taylor, Nevada (Reno), senior: The former Hawthorne wide receiver had five catches for 103 yards, including a 78-yard touchdown from Gatlin, in the Wolf Pack’s victory.
Aaron Craver, Fresno State, senior: The former El Camino College running back carried the ball 31 times for 175 yards and touchdowns of one and 61 yards in a 24-17 victory over New Mexico.
Niu Sale, Missouri, junior: The former Bishop Montgomery and El Camino defensive back scored on a 52-yard punt return in a 20-19 loss to Texas Christian. It was Missouri’s first punt return for a touchdown since 1978.
Brian Treggs, UC Berkeley, junior: The former Carson wide receiver had three catches for 55 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown from quarterback Mike Pawlawski, in a 28-12 victory over Wisconsin
Chris Maumalanga, Kansas, freshman: The former Bishop Montgomery defensive lineman recovered a fumble and helped the Jayhawks limit Oregon State to 44 yards rushing in a 38-12 victory.
Deon Figures, Colorado, sophomore: The former Serra cornerback had three unassisted tackles and three assists in a 21-17 victory over Stanford.
