WORLD IN BRIEF : SOVIET UNION : Israeli Officials Arrive for Talks

An Israeli Foreign Ministry delegation arrived in Moscow on the highest-level official visit since the Soviet Union cut diplomatic relations in 1967, an Israeli diplomat said. Israel Mey-Ami, the No. 2 representative in the permanent group of Israeli diplomatic officials based at the Dutch Embassy in Moscow, said the visiting delegation would hold talks with Soviet Foreign Ministry officials today at the level of experts, but declined to specify what would be discussed.
