Anti-Drug Fair to Begin Today

DANA POINT — Celebrities, live music, food, drinks and games will all be part of the second annual Dana Point Community Awareness Fair that will run today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Salt Creek Beach, just below the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
The event will also feature a professional volleyball clinic, a martial arts demonstration and a spaghetti-eating contest.
Free parking and a shuttle to the fair will be available from the parking lot above the beach.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Drug Use Is Life Abuse organization. Event sponsors include the city of Dana Point, the county, local chambers of commerce and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
