Montclair Prep 35, Simi Valley 22--Eliel Swinton rushed for 252 yards in 30 carries and scored one touchdown for Montclair Prep (1-2) at Pierce College.

A 32-yard gallop by Swinton gave the Mounties a 7-0 lead in the first quarter and Montclair Prep built a 27-8 lead by halftime.

Chris Portugal intercepted two passes, returning one 42 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter that gave Montclair Prep a 21-0 lead.

Quarterback Tim Kirksey of Simi Valley (0-2) completed 21 of 38 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns, but he threw two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns.
