Burbank 22, Bell-Jeff 14--Randye Rand scored on a 29-yard run with 2:26 left to lead the Bulldogs (1-1) in a penalty-filled game at Burroughs High. Rand finished with 76 yards.

Burbank quarterback Bryon Linville completed four of five passes for 42 yards, including a five-yard second-quarter touchdown pass to Juan Valencia.

Steve Brenes’ two-yard touchdown run in the third quarter increased Burbank’s lead to 15-6.
