Mark Barsotti completed only 13 of 30 passes, but they accounted for 334 yards as Fresno State routed Utah, 31-7, Saturday night in a nonconference game at Salt Lake City.
Aaron Craver scored twice for the Bulldogs (3-0) against the Utes (2-1).
San Jose State 28, Pacific 14--Sheldon Canley rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns, and the Spartans’ Ralph Martini threw for 314 yards in a Big West victory at Stockton.
San Jose (1-1) held Pacific (1-2) to minus-one yard rushing in the conference opener for both.
