THE SIDELINES : Ormsby Is Top Fuel at Keystone

MOHNTON, Pa. — Gary Ormsby, John Force and Darrell Alderman claimed victories Sunday night in the rain-delayed Keystone Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway.
The event was down to the finals in the pro categories when rain forced a delay of almost five hours.
Ormsby drove his Castrol GTX dragster to his sixth victory of the season, defeating Gene Snow in the Top Fuel finals with an elapsed time of 4.998 seconds at 274.97 m.p.h.
Force won his seventh event of the season, beating Mark Oswald in the Funny Car finals. His Olds Cutlass was timed in 5.331 seconds at 271.32 m.p.h.
Alderman claimed the Pro Stock title over 10-time Winston champion Bob Glidden, going a quarter mile in 7.282 seconds at 188.36 m.p.h.
