Bruce R. Birkeland, vice president of Northland Financial Co., has been named branch manager for the Orange County regional office. Prior to opening the Orange County office for Northland in 1988, Birkeland was vice president and regional manager for Norris, Beggs and Simpson. Northland, headquartered in Minneapolis, is a real estate investment banker.
