TRABUCO CANYON : Sign Is Dedicated to Crossing Guard
- Share via
A crosswalk sign at Trabuco Elementary school was dedicated Friday to a crossing guard who died in July after working at the school for four years.
Principal Sandra Morrow requested that volunteer Curtis Haden’s name be placed on the crosswalk sign after Haden died following a lengthy illness. His death occurred one day before he was to be grand marshal in the Trabuco Canyon Fourth of July parade.
County Supervisor Gaddi H. Vasquez, who represents Trabuco Canyon, dedicated the sign to Haden in a ceremony Friday morning.
