Twin Peakers Get Political: The two top lawmen from “Twin Peaks,” FBI agent Dale Cooper and Sheriff Harry S. Truman, set aside the Laura Palmer murder case long enough to do some politicking. Kyle MacLachlan and Michael Ontkean appear in character in a 30-second television ad opposing Proposition 135, a pesticide regulation that Californians will vote on Tuesday. In the spot, the two don rubber gloves and examine a smoking black box with “135 No” stenciled on its side.
