Jacobs Engineering Group Inc.: The Pasadena-based engineering construction company reported record annual earnings of $14.4 million, 40% more than last year. Revenue was up 11% to $881.8 million. Fourth-quarter profit of $4 million--a 10% gain over the 1989 period--also was a record. Quarterly revenue climbed 10% to $230.3 million. The company said strong demand for the plant facilities that it builds, especially in oil refining and pharmaceuticals, boosted results.
