Arcadia : Owners Must Vacate Land

Arcadia officials are giving seven property owners 90 days to get off their condemned land in the city’s Northwest Corner Project area.
The City Council, acting as the Redevelopment Agency, voted 3 to 0 on Tuesday to send out the 90-day notices to the residents, who live on East Santa Clara Street and Wheeler and Second avenues. Councilmen Charles Gilb and Robert Harbicht were absent.
The city condemned the areas earlier this year so that the site can be developed for commercial use.
Peter P. Kinnahan, assistant city manager for economic development, said the agency is sending out the notices before a developer is selected by early 1991.
