Wacky Princess Gets Victory

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Wacky Princess outpaced Skatingonthinice for a half-length victory in Wednesday’s $34,050 Indian Maid Purse at Churchill Downs.

Wacky Princess, ridden by Ricardo Lopez, covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:46 2/-5 and paid $20.40, $10.40 and $5. Skatingonthinice returned $5.60 and $3.60. Power on Ice was four lengths back in third and paid $4.

Wacky Princess trailed the field of eight after the first quarter-mile, rallied to second, then took command in the final sixteenth.
