Stephen B. Burke has been promoted to executive vice president-Disney specialty retail, within the consumer products segment of Walt Disney Co. Burke joined Disney in 1986 and opened the first Disney Store at the Glendale Galleria shopping mall in 1987. Dennis Hightower has been promoted to executive vice president-Disney consumer products, Europe and the Middle East. Hightower will continue with the responsibilities he has held as senior vice president. Steve McBeth has been promoted to executive vice president-Disney consumer products, United States and Canada. McBeth will continue with the responsibilities he has held as senior vice president.
