REAGAN-BASHING
I just read a review (as in rehash) of Richard Reeves’ opinions on Ronald Reagan under a headine that had led me to believe that Reeves was going to review “An American Life” by Ronald Reagan (Nov. 4).
After working in a quote from his own last book, Reeves spent a majority of this article bringing in his own ideas and not bringing out the core of Ronald Reagan’s book.
Reeves has made it clear that he does not like Ronald Reagan. Fine. He did not make clear what the book he was reviewing was about. Not acceptable.
Since this is a biography of one of the few Presidents who came into office to do something (like it or not), I suggest publishing a review that reviews the book.
