NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Quarterback Willie McMillian’s fourth touchdown run, a nine-yarder with 1:03 left, lifted Army to a 42-38 victory over Vanderbilt Saturday.
Army led by a touchdown on four different occasions, but trailed 38-35 with three minutes left. However, McMillian, who rushed for 195 yards in 25 carries, rallied the Cadets, teaming with Myreon Williams on a 56-yard pass to the Commodores’ 12 before scoring on a keeper.
The Cadets (5-5) play their season finale against Navy on Dec. 8. Vanderbilt (1-8) has games remaining against Wake Forest and Tennessee.
