The Pasadena Symphony Assn. has received a $10,000 grant from Mervyn’s to initiate the High School Assembly Concert Series. The series is to provide junior and senior high school students in the Pasadena Unified School District with an opportunity to hear and learn about orchestral music.
A chamber orchestra of 50 musicians will perform in school auditoriums.
