Florida Sues Baby-Formula Makers: Florida’s attorney general filed an antitrust suit against the nation’s top infant formula makers, charging them with illegally conspiring to drive up prices and keeping newcomers out of the industry. Atty. Gen. Bob Butterworth filed a civil complaint in Tallahassee federal court against Abbott Laboratories, American Home Products Corp. and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. A spokesman for Bristol-Myers could not be reached immediately. Spokesmen for the other two companies said they had not seen the complaint, and therefore could not comment.
