SAS to Halt Flights to Tel Aviv: Scandinavian Airline System said that as a result of skyrocketing war-risk insurance premiums it will suspend flights to Tel Aviv beginning Wednesday. Pan American World Airways previously said it would suspend service to the Persian Gulf, and other carriers, including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, British Airways and Lufthansa German Airlines have reduced service to the gulf region. SAS said its ticket-holders would be booked on Swiss Air or Austrian Airlines.
