So Bush’s aides kill tough measures in the proposed new energy plan drafted by the Department of Energy. So who should be surprised? President Bush’s energies are all aimed at the Persian Gulf. One can’t expect him to spare even a breath for efforts that would reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Heavens no! He is staging a war financed by the spend-spend-borrow-borrow practice initiated by his predecessor.
Hey, this is too much fun. How would you like to be able to go on a spree with this kind of a caper?
