Seeking a Separation of War and Football

I am writing to express my opinion about seeing American flags on the NFL football helmets.
I want my tax dollars going for research on alternate energy and for peace. I am opposed to the U.S. being the world’s policeman. Leave football out of it. The Persian Gulf is not the Super Bowl, in spite of what some of our generals seem to think.
