GIRLS’ ROUNDUP : Masumoto Gets 19 to Lead Kennedy Past Bolsa Grande

Lynly Masumoto scored 19 points and had nine rebounds as Kennedy High School defeated Bolsa Grande, 55-31, in a Garden Grove League girls’ basketball game Monday at Kennedy.
Neither team took control in the first half and Kennedy led, 21-19, at the break. But Masumoto scored eight points in the third quarter as Kennedy outscored Bolsa Grande, 19-4, and led, 40-23.
Garden Grove 50, Los Amigos 41--Melody Dear scored 18 points to lead visiting Garden Grove (6-5, 2-1).
