Moviegoers Pick Favorites: Nominees for the First Annual Movie Awards, chosen by 1 million moviegoers, were announced Wednesday by Robert Townsend, who along with Kirstie Alley will host a televised presentation of the awards on Jan. 30. Nominated for most popular comedy were: “Edward Scissorhands,” “Ghost,” “Home Alone” and “Pretty Woman.” Nominations for most popular dramatic film were: “Dances With Wolves,” “Flatliners,” “The Godfather Part III,” and “Misery.”
