Delta Burke of TV’s “Designing Women” is suing the show’s producers for breach of contract, claiming she was written out of an episode in revenge.
The actress has been feuding in public with producers Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and Harry Thomason, who claim Burke is difficult to work with.
The actress claimed in the lawsuit filed Wednesday that she was kept out of a Nov. 9 episode of the CBS sitcom. Burke, who plays Southern belle Suzanne Sugarbaker, wants $55,000 she claims is guaranteed per show, and unspecified damages.
Cheryl J. Kagan, a spokeswoman for the Thomasons, said they had not seen the lawsuit and had no comment.
