No Bliss for ‘Marrying Man’: The set of “The Marrying Man,” a Disney film starring Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, was not a happy place, according to Premiere magazine. The stars, who moved in together during the filming, made life miserable for the crew with their demands and their attitude. Basinger was reported to have told writer Neil Simon (yes, that Neil Simon): “This isn’t funny. Whoever wrote this doesn’t understand comedy.”
