Smokers’ Fatal Tales on Tobacco Packs: Drawings of skulls and stories of smokers who died will be printed on cigarette cartons next year in Sweden, an official of the National Board of Health and Welfare announced. “It’s difficult to transform medical science to intelligible language to make people understand the health hazards of tobacco,” Margareta Haglund said. Swedish cigarette packs presently carry a brief health warning in small type. There is no warning on cigarette cartons.
