Maxwell Data Management of Costa Mesa, which documents aircraft maintenance and supplies software to the aerospace industry, has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Official Airline Guides of Oak Brook, Ill. It was formerly a subsidiary of Maxwell Communications Group PLC, the parent company of Official Airline Guides. Maxwell Data said it has also signed an agreement with American Airlines to transfer its aircraft-maintenance manuals to compact disk storage.
