In other Pacific Coast League games:
Estancia 78, Century 25--The Eagles (14-1, 2-0), ranked second in Orange County, got 25 points from senior guard Melody Earle, 18 from senior forward Patrice Lumpkin and 15 from junior forward Monique Sweet. The Eagles led, 49-3, at halftime. Forward Lucy Guerrero scored 11 points for Century (4-8, 0-2). In the Angelus League:
Rosary 44, Bishop Amat 33--Carlyn Chey scored 10 points for host Rosary (8-5, 2-1).
Mater Dei 52, Santa Margarita 33--Melissa McDonald scored 14 points for visiting Mater Dei.
In the Century League:
Foothill 51, Santa Ana Valley 30--Melissa Wielandt scored 17 points for host Foothill (1-12, 1-2).
Canyon 53, Orange 42--Erin Waggoner had 25 for Canyon (8-7, 2-1). Ginnie Hall scored 23 for Orange (2-12, 1-2).
El Modena 57, Villa Park 21--Jamie Shine had 10 points and 10 rebounds for host El Modena (9-3, 3-0).
In the Empire League:
Cypress 65, Loara 51--Lupe Nava scored 22 points and Frances Oda added 20 points for host Cypress (12-6, 2-1). Tracy Titus scored 17 for Loara.
In the Freeway League:
La Habra 61, Buena Park 26--Zrinka Kristich scored 16 for La Habra (10-3, 2-0), the fifth-ranked team in the county, and Leslie Ferguson and Martha Hernandez each added 13. Sandy Bodnar had 14 points for Buena Park (4-7, 1-1).
In the Orange League:
Valencia 63, Western 53--Cathryn Sweet scored 19 points, Heather Kidd had 13 and Allison Granger 10 for visiting Valencia (10-5, 2-0).
Brea-Olinda 77, Anaheim 21--Though Coach Mark Trakh didn’t play starters Jody Anton, Nicole Erickson, Jinelle Williams and Cathy Lewis, the Lady Cats (14-0, 2-0) remained unbeaten. Forward Leigh Flores, who replaced Williams, had 17 points and nine rebounds for Brea-Olinda. Jennifer Crawford had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Lea Raff--the only regular to play--had 17 points and 15 rebounds.
In the Olympic League:
Valley Christian 34, Capistrano Valley Christian 29--Heidi Elliot scored nine for visiting Capistrano Valley Christian (9-3, 2-2).
In the Sea View League:
Woodbridge 66, Corona del Mar 45--Deanna Harry had 18 points and 14 rebounds for host Woodbridge (11-3, 1-0). Heather Flaherty had 21 points for Corona del Mar.
Tustin 100, Saddleback 37--Christine Garner had 32 points and 22 rebounds and Shari Needham had 21 points and 14 rebounds for host Tustin (15-3, 2-0), which led, 56-11, at the half and scored 100 points for the first time in the school’s history.
University 51, Newport Harbor 46--Tara Wolff made two free throws with 26 seconds left to break a 46-46 tie. Wolff, who led all scorers with 21 points, then made two free throws for the host Trojans (8-6, 1-1).
In the South Coast League:
San Clemente 70, Irvine 25--Kristin McOwen had 17 points and nine rebounds for host San Clemente (11-4, 2-0).
Capistrano Valley 53, Dana Hills 43--Lisa Farr had 26 points, including five three-point shots, and Angie White had 13 points for Capistrano Valley (10-5, 1-1). Lizette Zamora had 10.
In the Sunset League:
Edison 81, Westminster 23--Erika Miller had 14 points to lead six players in double figures for visiting Edison (13-5, 3-1), which made five three-point shots to raise its Southern Section-leading total to 73 this season.
Huntington Beach 59, Santa Ana 48--Jana Davis, Amber Ambrose and Deana Itow each scored 14 points for host Huntington Beach (13-5, 2-1).
