Free Throws Help UCLA Women Win

hThe UCLA women’s basketball team used accurate free-throw shooting to defeat Arizona State, 81-68, in a Pacific 10 Conference game Friday night at the Wooden Center.
The Bruins, who outscored the Sun Devils, 42-30, in the second half, made 27 of 36 foul shots as they improved to 6-6 overall and 1-1 in the Pac-10.
Sophomore point guard Nicole Anderson led UCLA with 22 points. Guard Rehema Stephens added 19. Guard Crystal Cobb led Arizona State (10-3, 1-2) with 20 points.
