COMMUNITY COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Golden West Beats Riverside, Winning Streak at 14

Golden West College won its 14th consecutive game, 88-73, over Riverside Friday in an Orange Empire Conference women’s community college basketball game at Golden West.
Tracey led Golden West (22-1, 4-0) with 20 points. Dawn Haag had 16, Jenny Sullivan and Jennifer Harney had 14 each and Bits Sirchia 12 for the Rustlers, who used a 15-3 run midway in the second half to take a 68-55 lead.
In other Orange Empire Conference games:
Orange Coast 87, Rancho Santiago 50--Erika Manning scored 22 points for visiting Orange Coast (11-11, 1-2). Cheryl Henderson scored 23 point and had eight rebounds for Rancho Santiago (7-13, 0-4).
Saddleback 71, Saddleback 34--Shannon Garnos had 17 points for visiting Saddleback (14-5, 2-2).
