EVERYONE has something to hide. And often the best hiding place is in plain sight. So California Safe produces a unique home-security product, the diversion safe. Through a special trademark-licensing agreement with manufacturers, an extensive variety of personal-care and household products and food containers--Lemon Pledge, Jolly Time Popcorn, Turtle Wax--is being reproduced with removable bottoms. Valuables can be discreetly stored in these look-alike containers and kept in their seemingly rightful places: in the pantry, the medicine cabinet or garage workshop.
You can also see your own ingenuity take form by recycling a container of choice; customized items can be weighted and fitted to appear to be the real thing (from $10 to $35).
