Gov. Wilson Takes Office

It was ironic to see Wilson taking part in the inauguration on-board a train (Part A, Jan. 7).
Isn’t this the same Sen. Wilson who voted against Amtrak funding in every year it came up for funding? Isn’t this the same Pete Wilson who said Amtrak should be shut down so money could be used by the Coast Guard to search for marijuana? He should of gotten off the train and appeared on a Coast Guard cutter in the Sacramento River rather than the train he has been trying to kill for years.
