Some tips for travelers in the wake of increased, anti-terrorist security measures at U.S. airports: Get to the airport early. Report seeing any unattended bags. Pack such devices as electric razors, hair dryers and radios in carry-on bags for easy security checks. Be prepared for “pat-down” searches by security personnel. Heed State Department warnings about traveling.
