Orion Pictures Corp. has appointed Michael Russell vice president-publicity. Russell will oversee all aspects of publicity campaigns for Orion films on the West Coast and will supervise production publicity operations for all Orion movies. Russell is a former publicity director for Paramount Pictures Corp. He also worked at Walt Disney Co.
