Real Estate Show Draws 30,000: An estimated 30,000 people hoping to capitalize on the depressed Massachusetts real estate market turned out for a unique bazaar of bank-owned properties hawked trade-show style at a Boston convention center. Some lined up for 30 minutes to pay a $10 admission fee. Although no sales could be confirmed, officials said deposits had been put down on properties ranging from residences to a multimillion-dollar hotel. The homes, mostly foreclosures racked up in the current real estate recession, ranged from a $48,000 condominium to a $550,000 Victorian mansion.
