Nicaraguan Art: “Celebration Amid Struggle: Art in Nicaragua,” a program featuring works from Nicaragua’s leading artists, will begin at 7 tonight at the Sherry Frumkin Gallery in Santa Monica. The event, which will include talks about U.S. wars of intervention by visual artist Robbie Conal, commentator Bill Press, actor Ed Asner and others, is a benefit for the Nicaraguan artists.
