Syncor International Purchases Med-Source

Syncor International Corp., a Chatsworth pharmaceutical company, said it acquired Med-Source Marketing, a Dublin, Ga., pharmacy operator. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Med-Source operates pharmacies in Chattanooga, Tenn.; Augusta, Ga., and Columbia, S. C., and has revenues of $2.3 million a year. Syncor operates 101 pharmacies specializing in drugs and solutions for use in diagnostic imaging and home infusion therapy.
