Second-ranked Stefan Edberg and No. 3 Ivan Lendl will play in the $250,000 Volvo/Los Angeles tournament, July 29-Aug. 4 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center at UCLA. Both players will receive financial guarantees to appear in the 32-player field.
