Bank Robbery Suspect Seized, Another Escapes

One of two men who tried to rob a Bank of America processing center in Inglewood was arrested and two SWAT teams searched the building but failed to find the second suspect early Tuesday, authorities said. Two men went to rob the Bank of America processing center at 745 N. La Brea Ave. and someone in the center set off the silent alarm at 10:40 p.m. Monday, Police Lt. Dave Garza said.
“One of the suspects got into a physical hassle with one of the employees, dropped his gun and was caught outside by police,” Garza said.
Norbert Williams Jr., 33, of Inglewood, was arrested next to his car, he said. Employees fled the building safely and told police that the second man might still be inside, he said.No money or checks were reported missing.
