Another winter storm may arrive Wednesday on the heels of a cold front that brought a scattering of light rain early Monday, according to forecasters for the National Weather Service in San Diego.
Clear skies are expected this morning, but clouds will start rolling in this afternoon, forecaster Terry Schmeichel said.
A storm en route from the Gulf of Alaska will bring a 40% chance of rain Wednesday and cooler temperatures in the 60s, he said.
The storm follows a cold front that passed through the county Monday morning, leaving behind small amounts of rain, Schmeichel said.
Lindbergh Field recorded 0.05 of an inch, Campo 0.12, Del Mar 0.07, Imperial Beach 0.02, Lemon Grove 0.10, Poway 0.29 and Vista, 0.10.
Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and Palomar Mountain received the most rainfall, half an inch each, while El Cajon, El Centro, Escondido, Oceanside and Ramona reported none.
