The General Speaks: What is the first thing Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf would say to Saddam Hussein if they met face to face? “Get out of town!” The general tells this to Barbara Walters during a far-ranging interview airing tonight at 10 on ABC’s “20/20.” Schwarzkopf also says he found some TV war analysts “ludicrous,” and says he and his staff resented coverage from inside Iraq that implied “we were lying to the American people.”
