Bernheimer calls the concert “strange,” and he even questions it being termed “musical.” One of us has been out in the sun too long. Surely good music, great voices, outstanding orchestras and a famous maestro together turn out something “musical.”
Luckily, KCET viewers decided to see for themselves; they felt so good about the concert they set a record for pledges to Channel 28. So much for music critics--the people have spoken!
