TWA Unions Urged to Make Concessions: Republican Sens. Jack Danforth of Missouri, Robert J. Dole and Nancy L. Kassebaum of Kansas urged Trans World Airlines’ pilots and machinists unions to make concessions that would entice investor Kirk Kerkorian to bid for the ailing carrier.
