Jim Murray’s Columns on Hope and Tennis

No one is questioning Bob Hope’s patriotism, courage or his contribution to America’s culture. Nor is anyone questioning his right to purchase land and sell it at a profit. However, some are questioning his right to disregard zoning laws in the pursuit of his dreams.
I have nothing against golf or golf courses. I would fight to keep existing courses. But let’s get our priorities in order. Mr. Murray, don’t use your considerable personal wit to further Bob Hope’s gratification or Potomac Investment Associates’ corporate gain.
