A 31-year-old man was shot and killed after an apparent argument, Sheriff’s Department reported Monday.
Gino Tavalazzi of Lakeside died of a gunshot wound shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday, a Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman said.
Anthony Proietti, 31, of the 9700 block of Cactus Street in Lakeside, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Tavalazzi was found by deputies a short distance from Proietti’s house. Proietti apparently had called the Sheriff’s Department to report that he had just shot an intruder.
Proietti was arrested, deputies said, after they determined that the two were acquaintances and apparently had argued earlier in the day.
