Scott Catlin, a defensive back who joined San Diego State in time for spring practice, has left the team for personal reasons.
Catlin, 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, signed with SDSU in December after completing his eligibility at Southwestern Community College.
RUNNING
Julie Moss of Cardiff by the Sea finished 20th among the women in the 95th Boston Marathon. Moss finished the 26.2-mile race in 2 hours, 47 minutes and 19 seconds, nearly 23 minutes behind winner Wanda Panfil of Poland.
BASEBALL
San Diego State was ranked 21st in Monday’s Collegiate Baseball-ESPN top 25 poll. The Aztecs have won 17 of their last 20 games.
