The body of a woman who was found shot and left on the side of a country road near Alpine was identified Tuesday by the coroner’s office.
Brigette Ann Morgan, a 41-year-old Imperial Beach resident, suffered multiple gunshot wounds, said medical examiner investigator Max Murphy. Sheriff’s deputies know no motive for Morgan’s shooting.
A walker found Morgan’s body about 7 a.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Japatul Road just south of Alpine. The country road winds around Loveland Reservoir in East County.
